Nana Esi Kpeglo

Esi is responsible for selling our honey and beeswax, promoting our honey brand, and leading consumer awareness and education. Growing up with an entomologist and a beekeeper as a father, Esi was exposed to beekeeping at a very tender age. She and her siblings followed her father and assisted in his apiaries. They were always happy when they brought honeycombs home. Bees and beekeeping have therefore been integral parts of their family. She took a personal interest in beekeeping and followed her father during training workshops for farmers and assisted in practical demonstrations and especially value-added bee products. It was very fulfilling when she won a Commonwealth Professional Fellowship Award and travelled to the UK as an intern at Bees for Development UK in 2017. Esi used to work as a Volunteer Administrator and is also in charge of Finance.
