Papa is an experienced beekeeper trainer with a strong foundation in agriculture and agricultural economics. As Programmes Director, he drives the organisation’s sustained growth by providing strategic direction and oversight for project design and implementation, ensuring high-quality delivery, effective stakeholder engagement, and strong staff coordination. A dynamic and results-oriented professional, Papa excels in designing and implementing programme frameworks and Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) systems that optimise project outcomes. He is highly skilled in managing data to support evidence-based decision-making, using data-driven insights to enhance project effectiveness and communication strategies. Papa is also proficient in developing compelling communication materials that raise awareness and promote engagement in beekeeping initiatives for sustainable development. Passionate about empowering communities through beekeeping, he is committed to fostering positive, long-lasting change. He co-designed and currently manages the organisation’s honey traceability system. Over his years of service—as Apiculture Development Coordinator, Head of MEAL, Data Management and Communications, Team Coordinator, and now Programmes Director—Papa has led field activities across Ghana, established Buzz Clubs in basic schools, and supported cashew and citrus farmers in the Bono and Central regions to adopt sustainable beekeeping practices.
